Chairman suspended 8 MP who created ruckus in Rajya Sabha

Chairman Venkaiah Naidu has suspended eight opposition MPs including Derek O'Brien of the Trinamool Congress due to uproar in the Rajya Sabha over the Kisan Bill. The MPs to be suspended include Derek O'Brien, Sanjay Singh, Ripun Bora, Nazir Hussain, KK Ragesh, A Karim, Rajiv Satav, Dola Sen. 8 MPs have been suspended for the remaining session.

On yesterday's incident, the Chairman said that it was the worst day for the Rajya Sabha. Some MPs threw the paper. Mike broke up. Rule book was thrown. I am deeply saddened by this incident. The Deputy Chairman was threatened. Offensive comment was made on them.

Earlier the opposition brought a no-confidence motion against the Deputy Chairman. Which the chairman rejected. The opposition alleges that the Deputy Speaker ignored the rules of the House.
